Partners in Research

Demonstrating the value of Canadian scientific research since 1988, Partners In Research is committed to bridging the gap between eager minds and educational resources.

A registered Canadian charity, Partners In Research was founded to help develop a public appreciation of the significant scientific breakthroughs in health and medicine that biomedical research affords.

While it continues its original goal of disseminating Canadian STEM contributions to the masses, Partners In Research today includes programming that improves accessibility to science for eager minds of (almost) all ages.

Partners In Research Canada Powers 4 Educational Programs:

Virtual Researcher On Call (VROC) An educational support tool focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) that encourages students to continue in STEM studies toward future career opportunities.

PIR Live Event Webinars engage classrooms across Canada in dynamic online discussions about various topics and introduce them to a range of professionals and facilities. Teachers and their students can join a PIR Live Event webinar to submit their questions in real time and receive the answers live.

The Delta Program Launched as a pilot project in Fall 2016, The Delta Program brings storytelling, inquiry, experiential learning and mentorship together to support learning of science and technology in Ontario grades 1-8.

We at Insure For Your Cause think Executive Director Brent Peltola sums up the awesome essence of Partners In Research best –

“We’re providing cost-effective, accessible STEM experience to children who will inherit the future. We think they’re worth the investment”
